ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Topeka, KS. This is my freshman year at washburn and my first semester in the Mass Media: Public Relations field. I moved to the Mass Media major after spending time in the computer science field. I moved CS to my minor and found a new home in the Mass Media department
WHAT I'VE DONE
The nature of my job at Antioch Family Life Center is a constantly changing and evolving one. I am the only PR and Advertising employee, but I also play a sizeable role in the centers multiple programs and it's fundraising effort through the year. My primary job however is the management of the center's Facebook, Website, and the creation of print/ digital information for distribution.
WHAT I DO
I really got started in Mass Media in highschool. I was incharge of social media and advertising for my highschool theater group. I learned during this time alot of the behind the scenes work and anylytics that go into facebook, advertising, and fundraising. This lead to a connection in a local community center where I now work as the head of the PR and Advertising.
